The establishment of Shree Balaji Hospital in 2004 was a response to a pressing need within Kangra and its surrounding regions. At the time, access to advanced medical care was limited, and patients were often compelled to seek treatment outside the state due to the absence of a comprehensive private healthcare facility.
Recognizing this gap, my vision was to create an institution that would bring modern, multispeciality healthcare closer to the people — reducing their hardship and ensuring timely, dignified treatment within their own community.
Shree Balaji Hospital became the first private multispecialty hospital in the district — not just as a milestone in healthcare infrastructure, but as a step toward healthcare equity in the region.
The hospital was built on the principles of service, accessibility and integrity and was founded to serve — not as a business venture, but as a commitment to the welfare of the region. I hope that these values continue to guide the institution in the years ahead, and that it remains a trusted pillar of care for the people of Kangra.
